Shelby caught this shad this weekend.
She baited her own hook (a piece of hotdog),
cast her own line,
and reeled it in
ALL BY HERSELF.
(still working on touching the fish to take it off the hook)

Go, Shelby! That's something I've NEVER done. Way to go!
Next time you come home we can go fishing out at Grandmother's place. Fishing is great. Teaches lots of patience.....and quiet.
